I considered doing an April Fools’ day joke today, but decided against it. Why? Because April 1st is also the anniversary of my blog.
Well, at least at this site. Super-Critique was on blogspot before I moved it here. I haven’t posted as often as I’d wanted to. I’ve started and aborted a couple of series (the Young Justice reviews, Golden Age month). In spite of that, I’ve still enjoyed writing this blog.
Here’s what I have planned for this coming year:
Upcoming Posts (i.e., stuff I WILL post, even if it kills me):
- A review/sporking of Modelland by Tyra Banks, a fantasy novel about supermodels with superpowers. I originally posted this sporking as a liveblog on TV Tropes. I’ve decided to update the sporking and post it here.
- A Jackie Chan Adventures liveblog. I’ll be posting this on TV Tropes after I finish moving my Modelland liveblog to this site.
- Episode reviews of the 80s/90s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. I’ll definitely be reviewing the first season, and depending on how much time I have, I might continue reviewing further episodes.
Possible Reviews (i.e., stuff I might post but refuse to commit to):
- Captain Planet episode reviews. I bought the first season on DVD for reviewing purposes but haven’t managed to build up the courage to watch more than the first couple episodes.
- Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation reviews. I own the censored British version on DVD, and Netflix has made the American version of the series available.
- Damage comic reviews. Damage was a 21 issue DC Comics series that was published in the 90s. It was also the first comic series that I ever bought a complete run of, and Damage is still one of my favorite superheroes.
