If I lived in the DC Universe, and I was allowed to choose one superpower, I would want superspeed. It seems like I never have enough time to do what I want to do, and superspeed would help change that.
There are so many books I haven’t read yet, so many places I’d like to visit . . . I could learn new languages. Write a book. Earn money quickly and easily. Get in shape. Have more time to devote to my blog. (Next Young Justice review coming this week, I swear.)
Plus, gaining superspeed would give me a slim chance of being mentored by Jay Garrick, and Jay Garrick is awesome. (Three guesses who my favorite Flash is, and the first two don’t count.) I could meet Bart Allen, Max Mercury, Jessie Quick . . .
Oh, and meeting Barry Allen and Wally West would be nice, too.
